TrueCert launches a skills verification platform for professionals who want to prove what they already know
The Swedish service offers timed online assessments across more than 175 certifications in DevOps, cloud, and AI, each producing a verifiable Open Badges 2.0 credential.
Växjö, Sweden. TrueCert today launched a professional skills verification platform built on a simple premise: many engineers and technical professionals already have the skills they need, and what they lack is a fast, credible way to prove it.
TrueCert is assessment only. It does not sell courses, videos, or learning content. Instead, a candidate takes a timed online assessment and, on passing, receives a verifiable Open Badges 2.0 certificate that employers can check independently.
Built to prove existing skills
The platform covers more than 175 certifications across DevOps, cloud, artificial intelligence, and other technical fields. Each assessment is timed to reflect real working conditions, and each certificate is issued as an Open Badges 2.0 credential with a public verification link.
"Plenty of good engineers can do the work but have nothing that proves it. TrueCert measures the skill itself, not hours spent in a course," said Daniel Virdung, founder of TrueCert.
For individuals, teams, and recruiters
Alongside individual certifications, TrueCert offers career paths and bundles, and serves companies, recruitment agencies, and education providers that need a reliable signal of technical ability. For hiring teams, a verifiable credential replaces guesswork with evidence.
TrueCert is available now at truecert.co, where professionals can browse certifications and take their first assessment.
